Tms570ls series is the industry's first floating-point, lock step dual core vehicle microprocessor based on arm ® cortex-r4f processor. Based on two cortex-r4f processors, the microprocessor is specially designed to meet the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61508 sil3 or iso262asil d safety standards, so that the vehicle system designers can achieve single and double high-precision floating-point mathematical algorithm, accelerated multiplication, division and square root functions according to the performance requirements. These algorithms can realize physical model control through the MathWorks real time workshop, ETAS ASCET and other development environments, help engineers accelerate the design of advanced security applications, and realize unique operation, driving and user experience.
Tms570ls series integrated arm ® cortex Gamma -R4f processor provides 1.6 DMIPS / MHz performance in floating-point operation. The series also offers different options of flash memory (1MB or 2MB) and data RAM (128KB or 160kb). The industry standard peripherals include FlexRay protocol controller, up to three can and two Lin modules, as well as Ti high-end timer coprocessor and two 12 bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The application of the product includes chassis control, braking, electronic vehicle stability and steering system and advanced driving assistance, which can fully meet the requirements of different memory capacity and performance differences in the development process.
